Police Puppets: The Fuzz

If you haven’t seen it, you need to. “It’s Sesame Street meets The Wire” – Tagline from IMDB

The Fuzz is a series combining puppets as puppets living in a real world with real people like the muppets. Its a cop show with puppets like Rodger Rabbit is a hard boiled detective story with animation. The series has some great moments and puppetry. Be warned there is puppet on puppet violence with guns, colored puppet blood, and street grade jelly beans. Watch a puppet scarface start on the streets and rise to a level of crime boss, while his childhood friend navigates puppet bigotry and rises the ranks of law enforcement.

Directed by Duncan Skiles and written by Christopher D. Ford and Jon Watts. With puppets built by David Fino, James Wojtal jr., Heather Asch, Will Pike and lead intern Aston Hollins McClanahan at Brooklyn Puppet Conspiracy.

After watching the series check out Getting Felt Up talk with David Fino.
